Peñón del Cura Beach

If you like small and secluded beaches, you also have Peñón del Cura Beach, located past Fuengirola. This small and cozy beach is a magnificent place to come and relax, as the contrast of the sea crashing against the rocks is very soothing. However, we have to warn you that this beach has two small issues:

  • It has some rocks along the shore and in the bathing area, so you should be careful.
  • It is a rather small beach and during high season, it tends to be quite crowded, so we recommend going during mid or low season.

Naturist Beach of Playamarina

If you’re a nudism enthusiast, in Mijas Costa, you can find the naturist beach of Playamarina, located between Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas, near the Calaburras Lighthouse. This beach, as its name indicates, is completely naturist and is situated in a quiet and secluded area. So, if you enjoy this type of beaches, in Mijas, you have this option.
